Pink, blush, rosé...they're all delicious to me

A few weeks ago I had the opportunity to go to a rosé festival with my sister and two good friends.  The weather was perfect, the scenery was beautiful, and the wine was delicious.  It doesn't get much better than this.

The event was held at Patton Valley Vineyard in Gaston.  

From here you could see some of the mountains along with the gorgeous hills.

Mindy taught me a new trick to get Trey to look at the camera which is to say, "There's a bird on my head."  So far it has worked every time.  I told this to Kris and Sarah (don't remember why) before Julie got there.  When Kris was taking our picture, she said, "There's a bird on your head," which alarmed Julie and made me laugh harder than I have in a long time.  I guess you had to be there.  

I would say that I liked 90% of the wines I tasted, but my favorites were the Bergstrom and the Elk Cove pinot noir rosé.
