By May we were all getting a little sick of tee ball. Three times a week is a lot! But the weather was nice and it was always fun to see friends at the game.
Trey and his teammates and coaches
They couldn't decide between the team name of Zombies or Blazers,
so, voila, Zombie Blazers!

As the weather gets nicer, we spend a lot of time in our backyard. Usually, we are on the deck, but on this night we decided to have a picnic on the grass.
Creamsicles with my boys
On Mother's Day, we had plans to go do our annual Gorge tour and do some hiking, but my body wasn't quite ready for that. We decided to stay home and have a mellow day around the house. Trey and Randy made me their traditional funny lunch, and Trey was super proud of his pooping dog.
I love this genuine smile of his!
Randy and Trey spent some time on Mother's Day working in the garden.
Trey's school had a carnival, but unfortunately, after several days of sun, it rained on that day. They put everything under the blacktop cover and in the gym. It was still fun, but I can imagine it's so much better when it's spread out on the field.
Trey didn't mind the weather...
Trey could spend all his time in a bounce house!
Trey really wanted the shaved ice...but wouldn't eat it because it was too cold.
This picture doesn't even look like him. I had to take a double take.

Piggie and Gerald...aka Ryder and Trey
Mindy and I took the kids to see James and the Giant Peach through Oregon Children's Theater. We each read the book to our kids before the play. I didn't realize the play was going to be performed as a musical, and personally, it wasn't my favorite. The kids liked it though, and that's all that matters.
The kids weren't super cooperative with the photo shoot.
The boys on Trey's tee ball team were all excited when the found out that they were playing their buddy, Sunny, on the opposing team. It's too bad Sunny wasn't on our team because he is an amazing tee ball player. This kid can hit!
Trey and Sunny, one of his BFFs
Trey has become very tech savvy. He has started posting things on my Facebook profile and texting people with my phone. When he's playing on my phone and I get a text, he can also tell me who it is from and what it says. I think his tech savviness hit a new high (or low?) when he Facetimed me from the bathroom while he was sitting on the pot. Really, kid??
I think this cute picture is from a day when Randy and Trey went somewhere together while I was at work. It might have been a day that Trey had off from school.
Trey finished up his theater class (here he is next to one of his teachers) and seemed to enjoy it. I thought the class felt a little bit like babysitting, and probably won't go back there again for a while, but Trey will always choose this over sports. Go figure.
Trey's tee ball picture may be one of the cutest things I've ever seen.
Randy took Trey to the zoo one day...
I was probably working.
