TGIF!

Great news!  Trey has been discharged from physical therapy!  His physical therapist said he is doing great and developing typically.  She used a lot of terms that I can't remember right now about his movement that basically means he is doing fine.  Yay for Trey!

Hanging out before our last PT appointment

Okay, here's a secret...and I can tell you mysterious blog readers because I know my dad doesn't read this blog.  He told me when he saw these two pictures his heart fluttered with love.  I thought that was the sweetest thing and not only made me love my dad even more but also made me miss my mom.  They would have been such grandparents together and it's heartbreaking that it's not that way.

On to happier things...

I've been on the search for the perfect play structure, and so far the winner is at Tualatin Hills Rec Center.  Today we went and met Randy there for lunch and let Trey climb all over.  He loves climbing up the steps and got a kick out of the slide.

Last weekend was the summer brewfest and Randy lamented all weekend long that we weren't there.  It just gets too crowded, too hot, lines are too long, too expensive, too crowded...instead we created our own brewfest.  We went to John's Market where they have the most excellent selection of beers and chose a bunch of IPAs and pale ales.  Then we went to Kris and John's house for dinner and tasted our beers.  We only got about halfway through before we had to leave, so we finished our brewfest on Sunday night at our house.  It was a lot of fun, a lot less crowded, and the beer was really tasty.  I hope we continue the tradition next year.

When asked tonight how my week was, I can't even remember...stomach bug, zoo, PT appt, picking up blueberries, playdates...good week, glad it's Friday.

Trey on his scooter - one of his favorite objects in the house.

Hanging out at Laurelwood...Trey is playing in the kids' section.
He also ate an entire corndog and decided that he wanted
to drink a bunch of milk out of the cup with a straw - both firsts for Trey.

I found this picture of Tango on my phone and think it's hysterical.
He's been aging quickly - not able to hear much anymore, throwing up more often,
and having more trouble with his legs.  Poor doggie...
